Cookie Policy
RunChair uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and improve the product. Here is exactly what we use and how to control it.
Last updated · 8 June 2026
02How we use them
Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in, secure your session, and remember essential preferences. RunChair will not work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off.
Preferences
These remember choices such as your theme and interface settings so the platform feels consistent across visits.
Analytics
Where enabled, these help us understand how the product is used so we can improve it. They are aggregated and never used to sell your data.
03What we store
The specific items RunChair sets, and why:
| Item | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth token | Keeps you signed in to your account | Necessary · cookie | Until sign-out / session expiry |
| Theme preference | Remembers your light / dark interface choice | Preference · local storage | Until you clear it |
| Chat session ID | Keeps your concierge chat continuous between visits | Necessary · local storage | Until you clear it |
| Stripe (during checkout) | Fraud prevention while processing a payment | Necessary · third-party cookie | Set and managed by Stripe |
04Third-party cookies
Some features rely on trusted providers that may set their own cookies — for example our authentication, payment (Stripe), and infrastructure partners. These are limited to operating the relevant feature. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers.
05Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using RunChair.
Most browsers let you manage cookies under their privacy or security settings, including clearing existing cookies and blocking future ones on a per-site basis.
06Changes to this policy
As we add features, the cookies we use may change. We will update this page and the date above whenever that happens.
